Astro Tycoon is a mining simulation game by Ozgames where you dig through layered planets using a vacuum tool, collect crystals, upgrade your gear, automate with workers and machines, and discover fossils to revive as stat pets.
How to Start Mining & Grow Your Empire
- Land on a planet — Use WASD or arrow keys to move around freely.
- Get close to crystals — Your vacuum tool will automatically suck them up when you're near. No need to press anything!
- Return to your base — Sell the crystals for coins.
- Spend your coins wisely — Upgrade your tool power, backpack size, and movement speed to mine faster and carry more.
- Unlock workers and machines — Once you have these, they’ll mine automatically for you, even while you're offline.
- Find fossils — Dig them up and revive them into pets. Each pet gives you permanent bonuses (more crystals, faster speed, better luck, etc.).
- Explore deeper and further — Go to deeper layers of the planet or travel to new planets for richer deposits and rarer crystals.
What Mining Feels Like
First vacuum pull – crystals fly into your tool, backpack fills, return to base feels rewarding. Upgrade bought – next dig goes deeper, brighter crystals appear, progress feels real. Worker placed – they mine while you explore, coins tick even when you’re away. Fossil found – revive it, new pet boosts stats, that “nice find” moment keeps you digging. Later planets: Layers get richer, tunnels go deeper, empire grows steadily.
