City Brawl is a street fighting game where every level drops you into another part of the city filled with hostile gangs. There are no long cutscenes or complicated missions. You enter a street, defeat everyone blocking the way, collect rewards, and continue toward the next district. As more enemies appear, surviving becomes less about attacking constantly and more about controlling the space around your fighter.
The opening stages introduce small groups that are easy to handle. Before long, opponents begin arriving from both sides, making it harder to stay in a safe position. Some rush forward with quick attacks, while heavier enemies move more slowly but can absorb several hits before falling.
Each cleared area leads directly into another fight, so there is little downtime between battles.
Every victory rewards oranges. These can be spent before the next stage to improve your fighter instead of starting over with the same abilities.
Available upgrades include:
Health
Punch damage
Kick damage
Special attack strength
Additional playable characters
Choosing where to spend your rewards affects later stages. Extra health helps during long fights, while stronger attacks reduce the time enemies stay on screen.
Standing in one place usually allows opponents to surround you. Moving after a short attack sequence creates room to avoid incoming hits and line up the next target.
Bosses require a different approach. They recover quickly after attacking, so waiting for an opening is often safer than trying to overwhelm them with nonstop punches.
The game displays the complete keyboard layout before you begin. Use those controls to move around the stage, attack nearby enemies, jump over incoming threats, and activate your character's special move whenever it becomes available.
Clearing one district unlocks the next, where enemies appear in larger numbers and can withstand more punishment. Rewards earned after each battle let you strengthen your fighter or unlock another character, giving you more options as the streets become increasingly difficult.
