Aqua Bits is an
arcade survival game where a small fish tries to stay alive by eating creatures that are smaller than itself. The game follows a simple food-chain system. Eat enough fish, grow larger, and keep moving before something bigger finds you first.
What Can You Eat?
At the start, the answer is not much. Most fish on the screen are too large to approach safely. The first minute is usually spent looking for tiny prey moving near the edges of the area. Eating a few of them increases your size and opens access to more targets. The list of edible fish becomes longer as the run continues.
Coins Are Not Always Worth Chasing
Gold coins appear between groups of fish. Sometimes a coin sits in an open area with no danger nearby. Other times it appears close to a larger predator. Moving toward every coin often creates unnecessary risks, especially during the early stages when the fish is still small. Missing one coin is usually better than losing the entire run.
Large Fish Change Your Route
Predators do not need to touch the whole map to cause problems. A single large fish moving through the center can force smaller creatures to scatter in different directions. Instead of swimming where you originally planned, you may need to circle around and look for food elsewhere. This happens regularly because fish movement changes from one run to another
Controls
Move Mouse / Swipe — Move the fish
Touch smaller fish — Eat automatically
Smart Survival Moves
- Eat safely and don’t chase fish that are close in size.
- Watch for shadows of bigger fish coming from the sides.
- Collect coins when the area looks clear.
- Sometimes it’s smarter to run away than to keep eating.
- The bigger you are, the slower you swim, so stay alert.
Aqua Bits does not use complicated mechanics. The goal stays the same from beginning to end. Find smaller fish, avoid larger ones, and see how long you can remain part of the food chain without becoming someone else's meal.
