Meccha Chameleon is a multiplayer hide-and-seek game built around camouflage. As a Chameleon, you paint your body to match the room, attach yourself to a wall or object, and stay hidden until time runs out. Hunters have the opposite job: search the map and find every disguised player before the round ends.

How to Play Meccha Chameleon

A Chameleon starts with a white body that is easy to notice. Find a suitable area first, then enter paint mode and pick a color directly from a nearby wall or object. Matching the color helps, but the hiding position matters too. Use the placement control to preview a spot before attaching to a surface. You can also change poses to make the character fit better against walls, furniture, and other parts of the map. Once hidden, avoid unnecessary movement. Sprinting makes noise and may reveal your location. The whistle can lure a Hunter toward a different area. Use it carefully, since making noise at the wrong time can also draw attention to your hiding place.

When playing as the Hunter, scan each room for shapes or colors that do not belong. Hidden Chameleons may look like part of the environment, so check suspicious surfaces and use paint shots to tag them.

Game Modes

Normal is a classic hunt for up to eight players. Chameleons hide while the Hunter searches before the timer reaches zero.

Infected supports up to 12 players and changes the match into a survival-style hunt. With more players involved, hiding becomes harder once the action spreads across the map.

Meccha Chameleon is easy to understand, but a good hiding spot takes more than picking the correct color. Position, pose, and knowing when to stay still all matter during a match.
