Rush Line
Rush Line throws a runner into a city street that never seems to end. Cars come from ahead, spike mats sit in the road, and police units make the highway even harder to cross. The character keeps running, so there is no time to stand around and plan every move. You just have to read what is coming and react.
How to Play Rush Line
The basic controls are easy to pick up. W or Up Arrow makes the character jump, while S or Down Arrow lets you duck under raised obstacles. Use D or Right Arrow to get across narrow gaps, and A or Left Arrow slows things down when a section gets too busy.
Some hazards are easy to spot on their own. A spike mat calls for a jump. A low barrier is better handled by sliding underneath. Things get messy when two or three hazards arrive almost together. That is when slow motion can save a run.
Look for Coins
Coins are scattered along the route. The safest line is not always the most rewarding one, though. Some coins sit in places that require a jump, a sharp move, or a trip through a more dangerous section. After the run, you get a look at your distance, coins, XP, and completed achievements. Missions and weekly challenges give you other targets to work toward.
Spend Coins Carefully
The shop has useful items for future runs, including Coin Magnet, 2X Coins, Extra Revives, and Mystery Boxes. You can also improve things such as jump power, magnet duration, coin value, and revive slots.
These upgrades become more noticeable once the highway starts getting crowded. A little extra jump height or another revive can change how far a run gets.
Game Experience
Rush Line feels fairly calm during the first part of a run. Then the speed picks up and the gaps between decisions get smaller. Missing one jump can end everything immediately, which makes a long run satisfying when you finally beat your previous distance.
