Bloblade is a multiplayer .io battle game built around close-range fights and survival. You enter an arena with a melee weapon, collect treasure, and deal with other fighters while the playable area slowly gets smaller. There is nowhere to hide forever, so players eventually have to deal with each other. The controls are simple, but knowing when to attack can make a big difference.
At the start of a round, there is plenty of room to move around. This gives you time to collect treasure and see where other players are heading. The safe area does not remain the same size, though. As it shrinks, fighters have less room to avoid one another. Getting caught outside the playable zone can be just as dangerous as facing an opponent, so keep an eye on the boundary while moving around the map.
Bloblade uses straightforward melee combat. When another player comes within range, you can attack immediately or hold the attack input to charge the swing. A charged attack takes more preparation, which means timing matters. Releasing it too early may leave you out of position, while waiting too long gives the other player time to move away. Treasure can also create risky situations. A useful pickup may be sitting close to another fighter, forcing you to decide whether the reward is worth entering a dangerous area.
As the match continues, the shrinking map changes how fights happen. Players who spent the early part of the round avoiding trouble will eventually have fewer places to go.
The later stages of a match are usually more crowded, with several fighters competing for the remaining space. Staying near the middle can give you more options when the boundary moves, while getting pushed toward an edge can leave very little room to escape.
The skin shop lets you change the appearance of your character. These options are mainly about looks, allowing you to give your fighter a different style without changing the basic melee mechanics.
The room system also provides a way to enter matches and get into the action with other players.
Bloblade keeps its rules easy to understand: collect what you can, watch the shrinking arena, and survive the fighters around you. The longer a round lasts, the less room there is for mistakes.
